A Lovely Banner ~

As I sat down to write the last of my b-day thank you notes, I thought about how special getting a handwritten note or card is ~ truly I have saved every one. I'm not the best note sender ~ to be fair they do get written, but for some unknown reason they hang around waiting to get mailed! If I make one New Years resolution it will be to get those notes in the mail quick~er! All these thoughts of cards got me thinking it's been a while since I created a banner kit. So, I dug through my stash of old mismatched decks and came up with this...

One World ~ One Heart

I am so excited to be part of this event this year!

For me that has been one of the most exciting and interesting things about blogging ~ connecting with others (mainly women) who share similar creative interests. News from my little cottage ~
This weekend we are putting the finishing touches on the chandelier installation. Which lead to patching cracks, and now we are putting up crown molding...isn't this how all projects go!? Of course that will also mean painting the entire room!

I want to say thank you to all my new subscribers ~ very sweet of you! You did read my welcome message right? The one where it states that I post randomly ~ OK, just checking! I did say though that I will be having a drawing around the first of each month...maybe that's what got you!? Anyway, I'm glad you're here helping me pass this chilly winter.
