The Raven's Nest ~

We've had a beautiful September here in the Northeast, but Fall is definitely starting to work it's way in. The air is cooler, especially at night, and the leaves are starting to turn. The hydrangeas, my favorites, have turned the most beautiful shade of rosey pink ~ just waiting to be picked!

I've been having a bit of a creative burst lately too. I know you don't see much black coming from me, but I had these little ravens and they were begging for me to create a new home for them.

Raven's Nests are in the shop ~

They were in part inspired by "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe

Hope you are enjoying the harvest season ~

magic & mystery ~

it's getting to be that time of year again, the leaves are just starting to change and somehow i always feel more focused on creating. so much inspiration, with the holidays coming - fast! and i'm getting ready to head to omaha for silver bella ~ can't wait!

magic spell wands i created for my friend kari's sweet & sinister blog. she has an amazing host of creative people there, tons of talent and fabulous crafts! i was thrilled she asked me and glad to be part of it!

the mystery is solved ~ yes, that is my woodland cagie in the latest issue of somerset studio. thank you for all your e-mails. i was so excited to see they used my creation for the winter edition ad! it should be on stands soon, so keep your eye out! they never disappoint, there is always a ton of inspiration to be found within every issue!

new in the shop ~ halloween decor kit, comes with loads of crepe ruffle trim ~ of course! and lots of other goodies including wooden dowels so you can make your very own magic wands. also, new crepe ruffle trim colors will be added soon ~ lots of holiday colors!

thanks for stopping by!

happy halloween!

my little wood sprites have been busy creating their costumes ...looks like i'm rubbing off on them! we've had flowers, leaves, glitter, and petals everywhere for weeks. what you can't see in the photo are their matching fishnets and ugg boots - too cute!

we're just two towns away from salem, so halloween is BIG here. tonight the big sprite went there for the first time with friends - can't wait to hear all about her crazy, spooky tales (let's hope not too spooky!)
