a few of my favorite things

after a crazy valentines day storm - our first this winter here in the nor'east, the sun is shining and making me think of spring...and flea marketing, hunting for treasures in my travels. two of my fave elements i love are metal, especially painted iron that's worn and rusty, and old painted pieces, the ones that turn that yummy caramel tone.

here are a few pieces i treasure...
a crystal lamp with an unusually frou-frou shade - see the ruffle hearts? love it - even though it's a bit over the top. a plaster hand vase, floral tole candelabra, and lovely violet print with stained mat which sits ontop of my mantel in the bedroom.

little touches of flowers here and there.

Everything looks wonderful, but I think my favorites were the lampshades. I love your taste. I look forward to reading more of your posts and seeing more photos.
