May Day, May Day!

I couldn't help but use the play on words, yes, help me ~ lol! If only I could get the hang of organizing my time...my daughter is right, I have time management issues. I am always fashionably late, scurrying at the last minute to gather whatever it is I need to get out the door...I digress, some things never seem to change. This last month has not made that "issue" any easier. It seems getting ready to go to Art, Paperie & Pleasantries has been one road block after another, but I am finally on my way, thanks to many extra helping hands! But you came here looking for sunshine, happiness, and eye candy, so...

My basket I created for Melissa, for Artsy Mama's May Basket Swap ~

Check out this sweet basket she made for me, so full of spring cheer!

I have it in my living room, and it puts a smile on everyone's face

Leave it to Melissa to create something unique, she's so very clever!

Here is a peek at my project for A Year of Color, this month's color is green, my favorite, believe it or not. I decided to spin that into "green" using vintage and natural elements to create these little Spring scenes under glass. The best part, no glue was used, so all can be used again. The wild violets are from my yard, they're so sweet!

Wishing you a lovely May Day, and a beautiful Spring ahead!

xo Heidi

P.S. Please stop by my friend Mindy's blog to wish her well, she's re-launched WishStudio ~ hooray! And don't forget to enter my Giveaway!

What a really terrific basket you made! - and received, as well.

I don't know why, but I can't get access to the advance "peek" of green Year of Color. When I use my regular link (which doesn't have the peek yet) I have no problem, but when I use your link, I get a "not allowed" error page. But, that's okay - I can be patient until May! LOL All the little natural elements under glass look very enticing!

Love the little vases with the little sprigs of fresh greenery and flowers!

I know what you mean about time management.... I am certain that I could get EVERYTHING done if someone would just put one more hour in a day!
