A New Year ~

Welcome friends both old & new ~ I'm still here...
and dreaming of a year full of creative possibilities!

It's been the usual busy January full of birthdays ~ 5 actually!
We don't get a break after all the busyness of the holidays ~
it just keeps on going...
not being a Winter person I'd love to switch mine to May,
that would be the perfect month to have a birthday

All of these images are past calenders designed by
Lauren Allard of Tail of the Yak

This is the one gift I wish for and look forward to each year,
it's all I really want ~ fortunately my sister never forgets

It's a little work of art that hangs in my mud room ~
and makes me happy every time I walk past

If I were a person who made New Year's resolutions,
I'd resolve to create more

Write more...this blog could use a lot more love!
And send notes to friends and family, just because...

Turning the calendar somehow always sets my mind to
wondering what the new year will bring ~ and
reflecting on the year past

This past year was so full of friendships both new, old and rekindled,
travel, adventures, creativity, teaching, learning, love & kindness
~ it was a wonderful year!

Thank you to all of you who stop by and leave a comment
or send a sweet e-mail, it really does mean the world to me!

Thank you friends ~ here's hoping we get to meet and create
together in 2010!

xo Heidi

Really do love those calendars, and so thoughtful of your sister to remember to get you one each year. For a long time, I would always purchase a Charles Wysocki calendar for my mother.

Hope you have a wonderful 2010!

The Tail of the Yak calendar is FREE with a purchase! I do believe that you have to purchase in person though ~ good excuse for a December trip to the Bay area!
