Motley Crew ~

I brought the babies outside for a few minutes to enjoy the yard & sunshine today, it's really still too cold for them since they don't have all their big girl feathers yet

They stuck together, a little peeping flock and froze every time a crow cawed

At this stage they look a little motley ~ don't you think?

Coop reno has begun, so hopefully they'll be in by the end of the month ~ fingers crossed!

Eventually they all climbed up on me ~ guess they know who mommy is

P.S. Yesterday was Earth Day

Love the chicks! What breed are these? I just got 12 more biddy's last week, which gives me a total of 80 chickens. I love them and have my favorites. Some are spoiled and want me to rub them before they roost for the night :) Would love to see your coop when it is finished!!! Have a great week!!
