pretty petals

lately i have been a bit obsessed with all things french, and loving the wonderful french blogs, especially corey's and carol's. i came across this amazing auction of french vintage paper petals and leaves from the 1800's - isn't it amazing!

this spring my sisters, husbands, and me and mine will be going to paris for ten dreamy days. i can hardly stand it - there's so much to see, do, and eat! everything is a feast for the eyes, everything is created with such detail and thought - love it. i know it is going to be absolutely inspiring! can't believe it will be 30 years since i was there last, but what a treat to share it with sisters and husbands - no kids! next time we'll bring them, really!

just watched (again) french kiss this weekend, great movie! anything with meg ryan in it is always fun.

clearing out the studio, starting the year off fresh and organized, can't wait to dive in and get busy.
xo, heidi

Don't you just wish you had a fairy-godmother who could drop those petals over you??? I sure do! Did you see Marie Antoinette yet?

I too am obsessed with everything french. Did you win that auction? or is it just something your drooling over? Please post about your trip... So we can be consumed with envy and jealousy. Creatively, Tammie www.myartsoulwings.typepad.com

I adore French Kiss! I agree about Meg Ryan but there's something about Kevin Kline in this movie that I love so much. The soundtrack is great too. :)

Oh, yes - I'm curious to if you are the owner of those beautiful delicious petals? Have you ever purchased from this company before and if so were you happy with your new 'treasure'? Thanks for sharing that site!
