Birdies, Eggs & Nests ~

I want to give a little shout out for a local artisan and friend...

Crystal Hanehan, of Vintage By Crystal, will be teaching Martha Stewart how to make this sweet nest on her show Wednesday ~ how exciting is that! And yes, she is the very same artist who will be teaching her fabulous Nest Box at Art & Treasure in Brimfield ~ how lucky are all of us!

Speaking of nests, this change of seasons has given me a creative burst of inspiration. I have finally finished my Spring Nesting Eggs, come take a peek ~ they're in the shop!

That nest is breathtaking! Stunning work and such an elegant take on a more traditional woodsy type of item! I adore it. Your pastel scrumptious egg creations are darling. I just love the springtime and Easter!

It's so funny, I never get to watch Martha Stewart because I have to pick up my daughter and give her friend a ride home, but yesterday I had a conference and got home early, turned on the tv and saw just this segment! Really cute project!karen....

Heidi ~ your Spring Nesting Eggs are really lovely! I did hope over to the shop... problem is, now I have to decide which one, how many, and what about those pink, ivory, green ruffles too?
